$ 23.23
44.44
51.51
66.66
12.12

what i am trying to say is ,what ever the dollars are i end the pump in the cents the same as the dollars

less than a year ago a gas station stole my card info and charged $77.00,, 101.56 and 79.00 to my card,, i called the card co, and told them i was disputing these charges,, then told them to look back the last few months and they would see all my gas purchases the cents will be the same as the dollars,, they investigated and i did not pay for someone else stealing my card info. of course they would not tell me what they found,, but two employes were replaced. jim now that's highjacking.lol.
Good idea Jim.
I think your method would be a great way to make a quick check of the credit card charges on your bill.
I always keep all my receipts, so when I lost my card (at a gas station) I noticed it was gone the very next day and called the card co.
I told them, the last time I used it was at 9:37 PM the night before. They told me $58.00 was spent at a Speedway gas station, (that just happened to be in a high crime area of Akron), $62.00, was spent at a liquor store, and I think they stocked up on cigarettes for a month or two, just can't remember how much they spent on them.
The lady I talked to at Discover couldn't have been more friendly, and understanding, we talked for at least 10 minutes. She laughed when I told her, "Well I don't drink and or smoke but I do use a lot of gas". She said I wasn't responsible for any of the charges made and they sent me a new card really quickly.
I'm going to try to remember your fill up technique the next time I'm at the pump. Thanks.
