I wish i'd taken a couple of photo's to post on here but I didnt think at the time and its probably too late now as i'm expecting a call tomorrow to say the car is done and ready to pick up.

It was certainly a shock to see what was under the skirt considering all that was visible when it went in was a couple af small area's of bubbling!!

Maybe mine has had a more corrosive life than others but it certainly looks like the skirt is real crap trap for road salt etc on a par with the lip around the rest of the arch but far less accessible for cleaning.
