Annoyances update:
1. Window wind noise: inserted a rubber tube inside the weather strip that is between the driver window and the roof/windshield area. Also adjusted the window's angle to lean more towards the weatherstrip using the nuts on the bottom of the door. Seemed to help a little.
2. Headlight fogging up: there is actually a bulletin on this. Silliconed the headlight vents, thought it would be the same as putting caps on them. Still fogging up. Maybe there is a crack somewhere.
If you seal them up before you dry them out inside the water will be trapped in there all the time, either as vapor or water depending on the temperature. If you seal humid air in there it will do the same thing.
