Default Re: Clunking while turning slow and tight

I've also got a clunking while turning tight, more so when backing up than going forward. It does seem to
lessen after the vehicle/tires warm up some and the temp here has been from negative numbers to the mid teens.
I changed the steering damper but still have the problem. Took the car to my mechanic and he said there was a
little play in the ball joints and control arm but he didn't think it was enough to cause this, of course this is the
first Crossfire he's worked on. I would say the best way to describe the feeling, is it is much like with my Jeep when
in 4 wheel drive and doing a tight slow turn on dry pavement there is that clunking and you can feel the grab
through the steering wheel. The car has Cooper Zeon 2x5 High performance tires 255/35 ZR19 rears and
225/40R18 fronts.

Any one have any thoughts on what I need to do? Hate to think by ignoring it I'm going to create a bigger problem.
