I have done the searches and haven't found the answer to my question. I purchased a 2005 Chrysler Coupe recently and noticed that the rear latch does not return after opening the hatch. I assume it is a spring return type mechanism but I am not sure. I am looking at how to replace the entire assembly or at least remove it so I can inspect. Has anyone had any dealings with the removal process and would be willing to share their knowledge. I could just tear into it but I would rather take it slowly and make sure I don't take off more than I need to. Any help would be appreciated.
