I'm pretty sure DC Roadside does not cover tire problems, but that does not excuse their call center attitude. If you had said that you had a flat and went to use the "fix-a-flat" pump in the rear and it didn't operate, then they would have covered it because that would be considered a failure of a mechanical part of the car.
