Re: God I love this car!
I'm in! According to the latest news, this has become a niche area for
lawyers and they seem to have a high success rate. So much so that
at least one area's courts have changed the rules on what is allowable
as a maneuver to get out of a ticket. The lawyer being interviewed as
part of this article stated they had a flat fee of $350 dollars. Though
a ticket may only cost you $100, the hit to your license could cause an
increase in insurance payments or loss of insurance. So, a 3.5x upfront
cost can really save a lot on the backend.
BTW, neither am I immune to the siren song of a roaring engine. I have
been known, and will probably be again, to put my foot to the floor and
not lift off until either the other guy has or he is long behind me. This
has taken me up to 145 mph. I've not yet pushed it to the limit yet, but
13 mph off ain't too bad.
