Default Re: Claustrophobic Confines?

Shortly after I got my Crossfire a friend and I took it on our annual trip to Cass, West Virginia to ride on the antique steam trains there. On board were;

maps
two small coolers of pop
four cameras with two camera bags
two pairs hiking boots
small suitcase
full Crossfire luggage bag with pockets
two heavy jackets
laptop computer in case with accessories
Celestron telescope in case
motor drive and power supply for telescope
heavy duty tripod for telescope
small trebuchet
bag with weights and tools for trebuchet
can of pipe tobacco with three pipes
four reference books
first aid kit (in trunk pocket for manual)

The drive down was 6 hours and we two over 50 gents didn't feel cramped.
On the way back we stopped at AB Charles' hobby shop in Pittsburgh and picked up a few kits.

Last summer I drove to Atlanta and back (11 hours each way) with no ill effects.

Last year my girlfriend an I went on a three day weekend to the East Broad Top RR., 5 hours each way and she never complained of claustrophobia.
