Well I think $95 is a bit steep for plastic and I can see the point about Heat (although I would love to hear a technical argument regarding the effects). I think at this point I will continue to high pressure wash the wheels and use some heavy duty cleaner. This seems to loosen up the grit and make it easy enough to wipe off with some towels.
