I agree it is an easy job. I took one off just to see if it was oily inside, it was as clean as a whistle. Before I did it I purchased a new set of gaskets. The old gasket remained stuck to the engine, so I wiped it down and put the intake back on. No trouble with leaks, but I would try to use a torque wrench like I did to do it correctly. I did not use anything to improve the seal, just metal to metal like when it was made.
