The amount of oil in the cylinders is always the same except for the volume of the length of rod of those cylinders that have the rod retracted into the cylinder. Although on systems where some rods are retracted as some are extended it may be a saw off.
To be honest on the Crossfire system I have no idea.😉
If you can check the level with the top up and then down and see if there is a difference, if needed top it up from the highest level and look for a leak.
