buggy4crossfire - an auto really wasn't an option for me, as I've always had manuals, and the wife's MDX has an auto, that's enough for me. If it was, I would've gotten the SRT6, and put up with the harsher ride for the extra 115 ponies. I did drive an SRT6 coupe, and really wish there was a manual with that. I was hoping that the transmission would get a little better over time (it didn't), but I knew going into it that it won't be a Miata stick.

my65cuda - yeah, I knew that going in, but just like any new car, felt a little faster than it does now. I don't want to sound like I don't like the car, I just wanted to point out what I think are the shortcomings. Imagine the XF with the 3.5 and the improved 6-speed. Now that would make it much closer to an ideal car...
