I installed them a few months ago, anyone thinking of getting these should get them now as there are not too many of them left.

I got my Crossfire rewrapped. It was first wrapped in matte blue (which I reaaaaallly liked), but it was a royal pain to keep clean. Here's a vid with the new color.

After 9 years of ownership finally got around to doing the sticky ignition switch mod. Thanks to all that contributed to the instructions.

Question for Red Dog...did you connect your mirror to the rear turn signal light? I assume it is necessary to remove the door panel to route the wire into the cabin?

Paying the price of a low priced roadster... LOL. 3m window weld time. Attaching the bottom edge - then coming back to get the sides.

Would I be correct in saying that the OEM cement comes away from the glass?
If so why couldn't a neat wooden frame be cemented around the glass to the roof material and another frame or a number of clamps be screwed to the frame taking the weight off the glass/cement bond.
Or
If one made a nice looking frame around the outside and drilled some holes in the glass adding some fasteners through the glass, fabric and frame would take the weight of the cement bond.

Never having studied this area I may be completely wrong.

In my case.. not just the glass.. the canvas folds back over itself.. Canvas glued to canvas and that glued to the window. So a bead of 3M between the canvas layers then a bead on top the glass. A 1" wide canvas "frame" glued to glass and canvas on the inside would probably have given these enough holding power to have stayed.

Just got back from putting a thousand miles on my roadster over 4 days at the 10th annual Michigan Mille. We were based in Traverse City this year and sponsored by Haggerty Insurance and Auctions America (RM).
My car ran with numerous Porsches, TR-4 & 6, 2 Ferraris, 2 Tigers, 240Z, Healy 3000, a Bricklin, '35 Bentley, etc... 46 cars total.
Also, found lots of non-ethanol gas in northern Mich, and it really makes a difference.
Here's a Saturday a.m. departure pic from the Chrysler Museum

I turned mine over yesterday and saw some white smoke....not happy Hopefully I will get it sorted out quickly with not too much pain. First time it ever really left me in a lurch.

I might as well add the pics of the new exhaust tips and the wheels with the bolts and caliper covers painted to match the engine.
