What did you do to your Crossfire today?
For the first time in about a year, I washed and detailed the NA convertible.
The car has been sitting under cover for a very long time only driven a few miles every month. However, now that I am about done with construction both at work and at home, I can start driving it instead of the Dodge one ton..
It's almost as exciting as getting a new car!!

~ Installed Mirror switch (Aero-Blu-rdstr) after removing center console without breaking or scratching anything.
~ Took the garage queen out (SSB-roadster) and washed and removed the cathairs from the top. Covered it so that aint happnin again.

So today has been a great day i am currently replacing my flywheel , clutch , flex disc's and all front and rear seals. Today I finally got the right front seal as they call it the clutch seal. Any way tomorrow i have the next 3 days off to get it all complete.
Sounds like TOO MUCH FUN FOR ME! Shoot, I'm procrastinating on just bleeding the brakes!!! 🧐 That's me watching all your hard work.
I been down for 2 months i miss my ride so much. Once I get it done. Gonna go for a nice long ride and I am also getting my RCM fixed.
don't forget when u put the driveshsft together ,,to line up the notches on each half of the drive shaft. it is for balance.
if u r referring to the drive shaft, near the u-joint where each half go together look at each side u will c two bumps in one side and one bumo on the other, when u slide them together the single bumo should be in the middle od the rwo bumps ( the bumps will not touch other but u can see how they line up. jim blairsville ha / ft lauderdale fl.
~ (Aero-Blu)Removed old glue from missing trunk letters and glued in the missing letters with 3M enblem adhesive. I applied the letters to a piece of masking tape-front side and held on to the short piece of tape while I applied the glue to the backside of the letters. I applied the letter and the tape at the same time, there was a faint ghost of where the previous letters had been facilitating the alignment.
Manual trans fluid change and drove it. Had to weld up my own 17mm tool for that drain plug but not a bad job. There was a good amount of shavings on the magnet.
that is great, now you are feared LOL any way they know who u are. wait tik next race you will have lots of fans around your car asking all kinds of questions congratulations jim
Just got back from a Father's Day road trip among the SC/NC Mountains. Wife & I drove around for about a couple of hours. Now, I'll spend time getting the car prepped for the upcoming trek to Eureka Springs.

Its that time of the year, again... Oil and filter change. Mobil1 0W-40 oil (of course). Generic MANN looking fleabay china filter (price was $6.88 for two) coming out (from last years install, checked about every three months) and the second one originally bought, put in. The filter was 100% with no issues. Almost a shame to change it because of how it looked but not leaving any filter more than 1 year. Until next year I'll continue to look at it about every three months in case any problem arises. Next change will be one of the 4 MANN filters bough as a set recently.

I've got a couple of the Chinese "no name" Mann "look alike" filters in my garage cabinet. Paid around $5.50 each for them. When I hold one of them up against a Mann filter element, I can't really see any difference to the naked eye. Only issue possibly would be the micron rating of the generic filter element. I'll install one, based on your feedback above, during next oil change.

~ New plugs in the Aero-Blu roadster
~ Found a small vacuum hose off and reconnected it ( mixing door probably)
~ Saw a big hose going to nowhere next to what I figured was the AC drain...Looked at the SSB roadster and it was the same way so I left it alone...
~ Motor mount came in...Probably needs tie rod ends or control arm bushings or both plus a fresh stabilizer and a new hood support..brakes.
~ My 1000 dollar Aero-Blu needed everything to be done to it....I'm on it....still waiting on SC pulleys being held up from the UK...When will I ever get back to finishing the Vega?
