It's to keep me interested in and happy to keep the beast by bringing it up to modern specs while keeping it as pristine as possible. So what do I think of this TCU? The shifts are even smoother, and they are faster. That makes me very very happy. Thanks for the recommendation!!

Thats exactly what I thought about swapping out the Eurocharged TCU. THE LM21 TCU is hands down better.

Glad to hear you too have had a positive experience.

With the paddle shifters it’s a lot more fun

Hello, I'm only 2 months into the CF world and I just couldn't stand it any longer - the plain, monotone engine cover just needed some color.
A little time, a little patience, and a little paint was all it took to brighten up the entire engine bay. That's what I did today - who needs to go to work!

Or the look with the M-B 1-piece SLK320 Airbox. Cost me $83.25 new delivered from Germany (came with both air filters installed) when I ordered it back in 2018. Discontinued now! Gotta admit all these engine airboxes look good!

"Simple Green Degreaser Spray" and allow to soak for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off
I use a Simple Green product that is specifically for automotive degreasing applications. I've got two spray bottles of the stuff sitting on my garage shelves. I've tried looking for this product for several years but had no luck. Just the other day I was in the local Home Deport and came across Simple Green MAX. Looks like it's the product I've got in the garage but with an updated name. $4 for a 32-oz spray bottle. Stuff really works great!

The dome lamp won't turn off with the remote lock.
You can lock and unlock it by flashing the hazard lights.
It won't lock with the interior button.
Is it a fuse or module problem?

Probably not a fuse. Use the fuse index card and check all fuses associated with the anti-theft system.

When you flash the hazard lights are you using the red button on the FOB? Does the siren sound when you use the red button on the FOB? If you get no sound from the siren, remove the black plastic cowl under the windshield (windshield wipers must be removed) and disconnect the siren, You can drive the car with no problems with the siren disconnected.

After completing the two steps above if the problem persists then remove the plastic under the carpet in the hatch or truck and look for corrosion on the connectors at the CLP/SSM and water intrusion in that area. CLP= Central Locking Pump. SSM= Security System Module.

Using the search box in upper right corner and the google option gives lots of info on the CLP/SSM.

Took advantage of sunny 70F weather today to give the leather seats in my 2007 Coupe a complete leather treatment (cleaning & conditioner). I do this 2x per year: 1x in the spring & 1x in the fall. My leather still looks 'factory fresh'.

I love those "kick panels" I'm guessing they're called? I don't have those on my SRT-6, do you know where I can get a set?;

There were a few versions of this style of rocker panel for Crossfire in the past
this appears to be the last seller on eBay
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/194456239250...mis&media=COPY

These are a little different from the ones I bought. Mine were from Extreme Dimensions and would not fit as manufactured. I sliced, glued and carbon fibred these into my existing rocker panels.

it took awhile.

I bought a little something for myself and it arrived today.
I had an ornament made for my Christmas tree.
I should have wiped off the dust from the packaging before I took the picture.

Got this ornament last Christmas from our son.
My 1998 Ford Ranger that I bought new.
Still looks great. Just recently gave it to him as I was not using it much.

Hi Jim,
Your picture didn't post, but that's great to hand something down to your son!

Today I added slasher stripes to my car. I think it breaks up the black and adds a little flare to it.
Annette at Annette's Lasting Impressions did a great job! They are well made and easy to put on.
Thanks again Annette! Thanks also to Valk for the advice on the placement of the stripes!

I'm so glad you liked them and they came out like you anticipated!
