Here is a link for new members that has 'How To' solutions to the common and not so common Crossfire repairs. Most have been converted to the PDF format for ease of use. There is also a lot of other info on the Crossfire.

These have been selected from the many posts on the Crossfire repairs by current and former members and many are posts with photos and descriptions of the repair.

This has been updated frequently.

Let me know of any errors, bad links or posts that should be included.

I have a nasty oil leak in my '08 roadster that has only 18k miles. Complained to Chrysler when car was under warranty, but got runaround because leak was not too bad. Has this been a common problem with Xfires? I can't see where drip is coming from, but garage floor drip pan is black. Any suggestions?

First, is it engine oil, or transmission fluid ?
What does the belly pan look like ?
What about the valve covers and valve cover vents ?
Check the electrical connector to the transmission - $12 part and 1 hour labor.

Valve covers do not seem to be leaking.
Belly pan covered with oil 100 miles after oil change.
Oil is concentrated on left side beneath the drain plug.
Tried tightening plug, but did not want to force it.
Above the drain plug there is a hose to tube coupling coming from radiator (tranny fluid?) that was soaked with oil also. Tried tightening but seemed very snug.
Let engine run for 15 minutes to see leak, but could not see any.

Maybe I should take car to a pro.

Tried tightening plug, but did not want to force it.
Probably not it, but you are supposed to use a new copper crush washer each time you remove the drain plug.

is there a fuse for the fuel gage help
