Two years today

Today is the second anniversary of my'05 base roadster Crossfire purchase. 36,600 miles on the car when I picked her up and 41,400 right now. No real problems up to this point but, I know where to come if something does appear. Thanks to everyone who has replied to my posts over the past two years with answers and advice, it's a privilege to be a part of such wonderful source of knowledge and like minded enthusiast. Crossfire and Crossfire Forum forever. Right now I have a SERIOUS case of cabin fever, I want to drive my car.

My anniversary was 1/29/13 for my roadster with 23,000 tostart and around 28,000 now. I couldn’tagree more with you about this forum. Icould have been, and would have been, in ton of trouble if it wasn’t for thisforum. I learned allot and you have all had patiencewith my newbie questions. I lookforward continuing to tune and work on the “garage queen” and being part ofthis group.

Bring on the warmth.

Year 10 rolls around in April for the roadster, and I cannot wait to start driving it again.

I still have the original wheels but have always liked the Sprints. You can still get them new from American Racing Wheels. Was wishing I could get a set for the XF, no such luck. I have had the Rivi for 24 years. Was my everyday driver for 15. It's got over 300,000 miles. Lot of my (and sons) labor in that one.

It's a cool car Travish, I almost bought a beautiful ruby red 73 GS back in 1975. I just got out bid on it. I worked in the parts department at a Buick dealer (back in the day) and I honestly don't remember ever seeing one without the old trusty 5 spokes.lol
I bet the Sprints make your car handle better thanks to the weight savings alone.
My first Muscle Car was a 66 Skylark GS. I sold it when I bought my new 69 AMX, and the girl I sold it to put 200k on it before the body disintegrated.
Oh by the way, your roadster looks great in that very "rare" color.

Happy Anniversary xjken!

My first one I bought new and it was a daily driver rain or shine. This one is a little harder to take out into the muck :)

The "y'all" was the giveaway. You're from the warmth (well, less the ice storms this winter). We've had 90" of snow this winter and it has not been above freezing for two weeks now. I don't know why Boston is crying about a little snow. That's why the Crossies sit in the garage, under covers, with battery tenders, for almost 6 months. But then they are driven extensively all summer.

66 Buick Skylark GS, huh. I remember when my parents bought their 66 Skylark with the Fireball 340 engine. I lobbied hard for the GS 455 but for some reason, with a 15 year old budding driver and dad a teacher, we did not get it. Just as well as that 66 became my car during my junior year in college. I did some insane and stupid things with it, and another 115 cubic inches would have killed me for sure.
