When I bought my Crossfire in November 2012 ,it had a Mobil oil filter with Mobil motor oil in it .No sign of collapse on this filter, when I changed the oil .The previous Owners had this oil change made in 2010 by a Chrysler Dealer and it only had about 6,000 KLM when I dropped the oil .

Since that first to me oil change on my XF ,I started to use full synthetic Amsoil motor oil instead and WIX 57078 oil Filter .The two WIX 57078 oil filters that came out since did not showed any signs of collapse . it is also a Fleece filter ?

The WIX 57078 are rebranded fleece Manns. So of coarse they shouldn't collapse. They also cost more than the Manns on average. How many miles between changes? I change the Manns every 10K and never a collapse!
