One missed phone call can happen. The front office is not working on your car. The mechanics are not manning the phones. The shop has Crossfire experience, you should try one more phone call. I could see going to another shop if you know that shop is knowledgeable on Crossfires. You can waste money at a shop that does not know the Crossfire or SLK. Many posts here about mechanics just throwing parts at the car.

That is precisely why you should reach out to them again.

Look, I care not what you do with your car, it was simply a question. And, BTW, I didn't "tell you to call back".

Look man you’re the one who was putting words in my mouth making it seem like I said they were a bad business I was simply stating my experience with them and I was pretty obviously saying “ you tell me to call back” from the perspective of the shop not you…

Why even post if you got your car fixed somewhere else. Try to remove the chip on your shoulder. Done with the post, life too short to throw back on something so trivial. No need to dis the company if you didn't even give them a chance past what you claimed. I suspect your always mad at something.

Lmao imagine reading these posts and thinking that I was the angry one or attacking…

dude asked what the name of the business was so I answered and gave my small experience that I had with them.

you then somehow misread at least one of my posts and got confused.

I guess next time I will ask your permission before sharing any experiences that I’ve had?

im glad you’re done with the thread though I can finally rest easy again😂

On a separate note does anyone know a good shop in the Sacramento/Lodi CA area? My car left me stranded had it towed to Lodi Chrysler Dodge and was told they don't have the scanner to look at my car.
I am also seeking a Crossfire repair shop in Orange County CA, in case anyone is aware of one. I have two issues - both right side signals (only) went out simultaneously, additionally, My hi beams no longer respond. any suggestions on either issue would be most welcomed...thanks in advance for any guidance.

Suggest you look for a independent shop that works on Mercedes (and BMW, Audi). The Crossfire is basically a 2003 SLK 320 so most good German car mechanics can work on it. My local indie (MI, not much help for you) has worked on mine since 2006.

There are no shops listed close to Orange County California. California is a big state. JCJ, For the high beams, have you checked the fuses on the headlight switch? The switch could also be deffective?
