Here's a brainless scam or poor victim selling the Crossfire
3 Attachment(s)
Today I was looking for a Crossfire for my kid, when I came across a great price on a 2005 limited with 124K miles
The Craigslist ad has been deleted, but here's a screenshot from when it was active: Attachment 39549 Anyway, here's the Carfax showing the car has over 174k miles: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xaxwvai6p6...ering.pdf?dl=0 Here's the wacky response I got from the seller when I told him the Carfax confirmed there was odometer rollback, and that it was a serious offense that could put him in jail: Attachment 39550 I offered him $1,500 for the car, as that's what I feel is a fair price based on the mileage. He countered with 2k, and I countered with $1,750. If I buy if for $1,750, I'll register it stating the mileage is unknown. What do you guys think of this situation? Here's a copy of the registration he texted me: Attachment 39551 |

My vote is scam.
The attempt at English by what sounds like a nonnative speaker is not in keeping with the name. A call to the name on the title would be the answer. Dupicate title with no stated milage, Arkansas area code, photo with temp tag would all be of concern for me, also. Sad that people go through such lengths to get verified email addresses and phone numbers. |

Google Maps for 118 Dill Ln Murfreesboro, TN shows an apartment complex with what looks to me like a Crossfire Coupe sitting in the parking lot. Looks like the car is real. still wondering if the sale is real.

:) That's the $ question! Leans, title loans ( sometime a title loan is taken out, owner gets a dup title sells the car, runs)... Takes time for leans/repo's and the like to 'catch up'. Let the buyer beware! :)
