Well, Life has it's moments.

Crumpy and I decided, last year, to buy an SRT convertible and go down to one Crossfire. I gave up the manual tranny and she accepted the smaller luggage capacity and annoying wind in her hair that comes with a ragtop.

We bought a nice unmolested version out of Virginia. And put our two Crossfires up for sale. Her SRT went to a relative rather quickly. I have been working on the NA and have it running well again. Fixed the suspension and the air intake leaks.

And lamenting the day I have to part with it.

Crumpy came to me today, she is ready to buy a new Chrysler Pacifica. "What do we Trade?" I asked. And then suggested my NA Crossfire. She floored me with her response. " No, trade the new SRT Convertible. I don't care for it and you don't seem to like it either."

She was right.

"Happy Birthday" she responded. "Now let's go pick out my new car."

I have to say, I have been regretting our decision every time I drive the SRT convertible. Nothing wrong with the car, I just wasn't excited when I drove it. My NA manual still gets my blood hot.

And so I remain the ROADSTER WITH A STICK,,,; as it should be.

Thanks Cathy. a bunch!

Thanks 180.

I originally got this car for my Birthday back in 2008. I'm curious if this qualifies as re gifting.

Well done Franc & Crumpy! I also love rowing through the gears.
PM me if I can help with a FCA Friends & Family # for the future Crumpy Pacifica.
