It's not just crossfire, all of the Driveworks filters are being changed out at Advance. I got 2 each for the XF, my wife's Escape, and the boy's Focus... 45 cents each.


They ordered them from the other local stores so I didn't have to do the driving.

 

I checked for my Infiniti, and Nissan truck, they only had the crossfire filter. I'll keep checking advance stores as I come across them.

 

I picked up a cabin filter for the XFire and an air filter for our 2006 VW New Beetle. Cost me a total of $0.95 including tax. They're killing me!

 

I have about 50 , will mail out 7 in a box for $1 each plus shipping

I just got two of them and paid 25 cents each.

 

My local store's ONLINE price is almost $17 bucks. Wonder if it's cheaper in the store... ?

We bought one of these filters for $1.50 a couple of weeks ago. My wife went back yesterday and got another for $0.05. They are being discontinued. I tried to pick one up at another Advance store and was told that when they go to 5 cents they are not supposed to actually sell them. They are supposed to pack them up and ship them back. Grab some if you can!

 

That's what the store told me also (about not being able to sell them once they hit the .05 cent mark. I picked up about a dozen a week or so ago for .45 cents. More than I'll ever need.

 

My wife is gonna try and get some at another store. She has a way of getting a deal!

So, my wife decided to return to the Advance store for a filter, even though she knew she bought the last one yesterday. She has managed to talk them into having the filters sent in from other stores. She is getting 10 filters at 5 cents each! I'd say that push-up bra has paid for itself!

 

Come to think about it , that's how I got took out!

 

Well, the wife has turned the cabin filter into a game. She found another Advance store that has one of these filters in stock and the guy is going to give it to her for free. I guess she now needs to find out if someone will pay her to take them!

 

Gentlemen - I asked my dealer about a cabin air filter for my 2005 coupe. Dealer said the car does not have a cabin air filter. Is this true, or do I have an incompetent dealer service dept.? Please email me at jpmlholian@aol.com with any info.

I can't speak on the 2005's, but I know for a fact that the 2004 has one because I changed it out on mine.
