Not really trying to start a thread, just making a statement. My Dad used to say, "You can't fix it. if you don't know how it works!". So for newbies with a problem, look under the problems and fixes and the service manual, which shows diagrams and illustrations of the works of the car. Make sure you understand how an engine operates, etc, it will make fixing it a lot easier. Electronics is the hard part, no one knows everything, but there are some pretty sharp people here who know a lot, more than any other forum!
