For those that have replaced your grilles

To those of you that have replaced your front grilles with the stainless steel mesh type....have you noticed any higher engine temperatures from this change?
I like the look of the wire mesh grilles but they look like they might reduce the airflow into the motor compared to the stock grille. Is this an issue at all?
Does anyone have a link to good quality grilles? Are there some companies to stay away from? (cheaply made)
Thanks for any information you can provide.
Further searches have educated me in some differently made grilles. Looks like a group buy took place about 5 years ago to buy some nice looking ones from the UK. Still looking for a current source.

I would also be very interested in members feedback on grille replacement . This grille is the only one I 've seen installed . It looked like a quality product

Valk, I do like that. I have not seen those anywhere either. Do you happen to have a brand name or anything else for those? So there are several alternatives....If I can find them. Thank you for the photo.
Oh...just noticed the different badge logo....nice. I need to start shopping.

With the mesh grille you can see through it and see everything behind it like the horns etc.when you see through it it ruins the look I think, some people have sprayed every thing black behind the grille to hide this somewhat.
I still prefer the OEM grille, next preference is the chrome overlay grille as Valk shows.
Here is the Zunsport grille you are talking about, it is the best one out there, do not buy the mesh grille with the wide band around it, it looks nowhere as good as this one.

They also make a very nice hatch cover as they show,

I will be thinking about buying and writing off that Hatch cover as a business expense.

scratch that, I can do it myself cheaper.

I have one of these, made in Florida. The upper and lower grilles. Good quality and solid not tubular.
Only problem I had was installation. Ended up using sheet metal screws to hold the upper in place.
BUT, that worked just fine. Solid, never moved. I have since replaced the upper with a grille I got from
DTMenace.
