Default Lateral Accelerator Sensor Location

I have a 2005 Roadster Limited with six speed manual transmission. I had an intermittent BAS/ESP light. Went to the dealer and they suggested replacing the lateral acceleration sensor. Ordered one on eBay. Can anyone tell me where exactly it is located? The Chrysler schematic shows it being in the trunk but my mechanic has not been able to find it. It was not under the center console either

My mechanic located and removed the Yaw Sensor Module - Item A.
The dealership said to replace the Lateral Acceleration Sensor - Item B.

My mechanic has not found the location of item B under the center console.
Is it possible that it is in another location or difficult to see?

Thank you for your help with this.

Yaw Rate Module - Item A

When I google those 2 Mercedes part numbers, they are BOTH referred to as "yaw sensor"
Perhaps a model year thing ?
