Anything is possible with a cutting torch and a welder. On that, watch some driving videos of the Tesla concept cars with that style, and why it's horrible,

Looks and functionality are two different things...........

(This would be functional in an airplane, not so much in a Crossfire)

dont make fun of it. mercedes is doing something already. and our crossie is a mercedes...so there are more chances that it fits

Every single one of those is a concept car. Awesome in pics, lousy in practice. Just imagine turning that more than 180°. That's as far as you need to take it.

 

just mount it at the left or right tip. i would do at the left so i can change gears with my right (my car has manual trans)

Regarding the Amazon link to the spinner. This was on my grandfather's farm tractor 65 years ago. You really don't want this on any car that I can think of. Unless you want to head for the ditch and end up in the rhubarb.

did you ever, did anybody ever tried it ? i did, and a lot. but, as anything, you have to have a sense of the power-and what comes with it. fast response does not come from nothing.
i was providing an answer to the comment of what happens if you want to turn more than 180 degrees. this is the answer.

i will mount the spinner at about 11 o'clock so i can have my left hand just under it for regular driving.

 

but, wait a minute.... just learned that:
Wheel spinners are very much illegal in Ontario and probably the rest of Canada. They can only be used if you have a permit for it because of a disability. A friends mom had one in her car along with some other custom controls due to the loss of use of one hand.
so better check in your location before you buy....
so this is the world where we live now: 1- is legal to sell wheel spinners; 2-is legal to buy them; 3- but is illegal to use them. great!
