Trunk and Console locked and won't open
 

My trunk and console are locked and won't open either with the key fob or the button inside. Also my doors will not open or lock with the key fob. Help!

Sounds like loss of vacuum ? Do you hear any hissing sound ?

I am having the same problem! I am desparatly looking for Part Number 5102774AA Vacuum Module or someone who can repair/rebuild my module. Please help!

. The ones from Mercedes work also.

:confused: Is it only the SLK-320 pumps that work, or are other 'Benz' models' pumps that are compatible? I'm not sure I've ever seen a list of MB cars/pumps that are 'plug-n-play for the XF. :confused:

The sockets on the wiring harness have to plug into the pump in the correct manner or things will be really buggered up. I assume the SLK320 and SLK32 pump will work, also any other pump with the same part number.

The part number on the SLK320 and the SLK32 use the same pump, part number A 170 800 08 48.
Anyone buying the pump should make sure that the plugs with pigtails and the Gray manifold come with it as shown below.
Also make sure it has suffered no water damage.

I should have been more specific. I meant the Mercedes one with the same number.

First, Thanx for taking the time to read and respond to my message. This Forum seems to be full of helpful people and for that, my Wife and I are grateful.

During my research, I found MB Part Number 170 800 08 48 and a comment that this part number is the MB equivalent of XF Part Number 5102774AA, the Central Door Locking Vacuum Module. Having faith in the advice of people on this Forum, I ordered one MB part on eBay.

Again, our gratitude to everyone who reached out here to help us - even if this part ends up being the wrong part!
