Can you turn radio on without the key?

Can you turn on the radio without the key?

I discover this when I found out the radio was on when I get into my car in one morning, before I pull out the key from my pocket.

Yes. If you hit 'ON,' the radio will turn on without the car being started.

But I believe it turns off in an hour or so if its turned on this way.
