Default My car picture used on ebay by a stranger!

I don't really mind that he is using one of my old pictures. But he doen't even know if its the same headlight cover film, its not even the same color and he talks like its his car. What are your thoughts on this?

item # 120295010600

He said "Here we go folks these are the highest quality R Vinyl decals for your Chrysler Crossfire Headlights, Tail lights, Fog lights, and Turn Signals. I bought these in winter and tried to install one headlight with no avail. I am not very technical. I put the kit away and ended up selling my car. This kit is dark smoke. Turn signals are included but not pictured. This will include everything you need. If you have any questions please ask and God Bless.

Go with the orginators of this inexpensive alternative to spray tint or hard covers. Headlight film that can be easily removed and reapplied with no adhesive. Kit includes both left and right pre-cut headlight film covers, squeegee, and easy to follow detailed instructions. Our pre-cut film has been accurately measured and tested to insure a precise fit for each model and year of car listed. The film is applied on outside of the lights. No need to remove light for installation. Our film is forgiving and flexible for easier installation. Unlike vinyl overlays there is no messy glue residue after removal. The kit will hold up to the elements and highway speeds. For off road and show use only. Note: A portion of the cost of this item is adjusted on the shipping"

A lot of those ebay sellers will do that, either be proud that he liked your car enough to use it for advertising or contact ebay and have the photos pulled.

eBay doesnt give a **** about non vehicle owners using another person's car in their ads. eBay will give you this Privacy waiver bullshit that states "you" should have applied for a copy right or trademark for your car to avoid someone using it. I asked a eBay seller to stop using my vehicle in his ads for lambo doors and he completely ignored me. eBay ignored my requests to block the user's ads. So I just put outrageous bids on every item listed and when I won I told the seller to chalk the winning bids up as residuals for using my car w/o permission. After sixteen auctions the seller finally got the message and I told eBay to kiss my *** and thanks for their assistance. I wouldnt mind if the seller's asked me for permission. Heck I would have been proud to have my car listed but dont assume you can make money and take credit for my modifications and you didnt turn one damn wrench. Whew..............I'm better now. Thanks for letting me vent. LOL.

Too bad he didn't link right to your photo. I had an ebay seller link their ebay sale right to my photo on my website.

I had a little fun with the seller by changing the photo to an obscene photo, with a caption stating that the seller pirated my work. Needless to say he didnt get any bids on his item and I'm surprised ebay didn't pull the auction, but it was more fun to see the guy squirm a bit with the new and improved photo

OMG! I would call a lawyer and spend every penny you had to stop this horrible crime!

As for the picture swap. that is funny. I bet he really enjoyed that in his auction.
