Default Megan Racing M-RS Exhaust

i just purchased and had installed an exhaust by megan racing and the results were epic, it has dual 4inch tips and gives a great deep note to complement the factory system, 125 dollars gets you the muffler and the tips, it is kind of a pain to install it took me 4 hours but the results were amazing a great buy

there are a couple of really nice exhaust clips on youtube, i think i typed in crossfire m-rs and it pulled up two great video's, its amazing how deep the exhaust note is, doesnt even sound like a V6, a little loud inside the cab but once your cruising the drone isnt too bad

i really like the exhuast. its a shame you cant get it in 2.5 " diameter. the 2.25 pinches down my setup

Question Re: Megan Racing M-RS Exhaust

do you have the exact part number? I am looking for a muffler, or catback and I might just try this one. Thanks, chris
I will have to have a shop install it, any thing I need to tell them? you said it took you a little while to install.

hey guys here are some pics of my installed Megan Racing M-RS exhaust, it took one exhaust hanger welded from the factory support and then welded in between the dual canister muffler, enjoy!

they stick out a couple of inches but it looks good you can read the megan racing graphic on the side of the tips and it helps keep the noise out of the cab, i would recommend letting them protrude a lil, i had a side pic but the quality was low so i didnt post it will take one tomorrow and post it then JR

Heard this muffler for the first time in person this weekend on NOVA-SRT's coupe. Sounded pretty good from the outside, he did say there was a significant drone at 60-65...anyone else experience that?

There is a drone 60-65. You can easily get out of that drone, if riding in 5th gear. Around 2000-2500 rpm there is a drone riding in 6th. Trust me, you wouldn't regret getting this muffler even if you got that slight drone!

you think installing an H or X pipe would eliminate the drone?
