It's from an MB SLK 350. Quote: "i have a used 2005 SLK350 V6 intake box. do you have any use for that?".
If it won't work I need to know. Is this the "350" you are talking about (not fitting)?

The 350 is a different motor all together. Ecu is on top of the intake manifold, it's a dual cam motor so the valvecovers are different. Mounting points are different. Won't work.

As described on Ebay: Breaking Mercedes S Class W220 320 engine top cover? The picture on Ebay shows a picture of (only) the nose of an airbox that is rounded and will match the larger section on top of the engine. 
Is this comaptible with the XF Ltd. engine (3.2)

Sorry INFINITE, could not get the photo on E-bay to open for copying. I appreciate your efforts. Does the headline info. give you any guidance on what the product is? It looks just like the engine top cover described in a thread elsewhere in the XF Forum. I'll take a chance and order the thing. Can probably sell it later if it is not the right one...
