Default Rear Cats Removed/Awesome sound

Hey guys, so what started out as bad day turned out as a nice one. So here is what happened. I got my Ansa exhaust that I ordered but it is not the one I wanted. So this evening I go to the muffler shop to see what options I have. I end up having the rear Cats removed and putting in straight pipes in place. All I can say is wow. This is the sound I wanted to begin with. Its not super loud and gargling. Now the Crossfire has that "Euro sound" I was wanting with the Ansa exhaust. I am so excited by the sound and simply love. I ended up keeping the Cats in case I want to put back to stock for some reason. The tech at the shop was wanting to keep them and saw the Mercedes logo on them.. Anyhow I just wanted to share this with y'all, thanks.

Where did you get the muffler? Glad it worked out with the sound you were looking for at the end. Thanks for posting pics! I wish more ppl would do that

I got muffler from eBay. Not sure what I'll do with it now. I guess sell it.
Thank you.

Well, wife and I were going to the store to get some groceries. Once we were parking she realized the "noise" was coming from us! She thought we were followed by a motorcycle or truck. She doesn't like it much but she"ll get used to it, I hope. It's not awfully loud, must not used to it. I told her that I was going to the muffler shop but she didn't really know what for.

Is that what you say when you read articles in Motor Trend or Car and Driver?

Hey I posted a video when I did my custom exhaust set up! It's only fair to hear comparisons for other members who haven't changed their exhaust, to give them some ideas. Plus I'm not hating since I love the sound of my exhaust and haven't heard yours yet

Did you only remove the cats or also the resonator?
