Guibo, flex coupling part number
My center bearing has gone bad with a thumping sound that sounds like it was in the rear. Looked at the car on the rack and all rear end arms were good! So with the car in gear and the engine running could see the drive shaft moving at the center bearing. Ordered the remanufactured shaft from wholesaleimportparts.com that comes with the front and rear guibo. It is the wrong one similar but has raised dowels on one side. Looking at the used guibo and could read the part # 2104110415, this shows up as the guibo for the C300 car.
I have sent a photo the vender, found some big price differences looking at different sites so shop around. Will have to wait until Monday to see what they will do for me.

Info on these on this forum is a bit confusing.
The SRT numbers are in this clip from an old thread.
The SRT uses two part numbers A 203 411 00 15 for the rear and A 210 411 02 15. Now here is where things get interesting! Mercedes dealers do have these, however the part casting number is not the part number on the boxes. Normally we see A170 for the slk32 and those are the part numbers on the bag, at least in my experience.
The units I picked up today are the a 000 411 02 00 and a 230 410 01 05

OK, more info, this was for a 2005 NA six speed manual coupe, BOTH front and rear original guibo's have the same part number and appear to be identical. I also have a 05 SRT and have not worked on the Guibo's. My photo is of the original in my car, I can see that there are problems due to the possible incorrect part numbers on some sites!

I used wholesaleimportparts.com and got the rebuilt drive shaft, it came with both guibo's and the center carrier bearing on an overhauled drive shaft. The guibo's were the wrong ones so I sent a photo of mine and they next day aired them to me free! Put the whole thing in and it works fine. Send the old one back for a core charge and they had a shipping label for that too! This was a NA six speed.
Why did you decide to replace the drive shaft if you knew the problem was the bearing? Is it not feasible to just replace that center bearing?
Well you could replace just the center bearing, you still have to pull the drive shaft. So since the guibo's and the universal joint along with the bad center bearing were all twelve years old I think it was worth doing. Now all four of those are new! Being rubber the guibo's in my opinion should be replaced if you have them out of the car for any reason.
