Default 5.4L AMG with 6 speed

Hello all, I'm actually an 170 SLK owner so I dont want to raise too much of a fuss here, But 2 years ago I swapped a 4.3L into my SLK, and then last year came upon a CLK55 AMG with title issues and put all of it's parts on my SLK. It's being powered by MegaSquirt fuel injection and EDIS8 ignition, so it's the poor-man's route, but it is all working very well! The story of this car is a long one and It can be seen on SLK world.

Last weekend I put a 6 speed from a Crossfire in. It all went together without issue. I had to modify the exhaust mount to the transmission, but that's the only grinding and welding I had to do.

I know there was a lot of speculation as to whether the crossfire 6 speed will handle the AMG power, and I can tell you that SO FAR it is taking it well. The weakest link right now is the clutch. In 4th gear after 4000 RPM (WOT), it WILL start to slip. I'm curious if anyone has any leads to a proven better clutch. also, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

South bend clutch makes a 'stage 2' clutch kit but it's expensive.
