Where have you guys with audio systems run the power wire through the fire wall? It seems like a tight spot behind the battery and before I start drilling holes, I thought I would ask! Thanks!

 

If memory serves me right, pull the battery out. There are rubber grommets you can remove or cut. I fit 4 gauge into one of the many spots. The floor on the passenger side lifts back towards the rear of the car. A false floor board can be removed and the wire can be fished through very easily. By far, the easiest car I've ever had to run power wire on.

 

Mine is a 2005 and behind the battery there are no grommets. Thanks for the input though!

 

There were no changes from 04' to 05'.

Pull the battery and look again. It is on the firewall behind / below where the battery is. If you don't remove the battery you won't be able to see it. If you still have issues finding it, look from the inside of the car on the passenger side.

As I recall, it was a circle the size of a pop can. It had some rubber finger looking things of different sizes sticking out of the center of it. You could cut one of them off and there is your hole.

Nothing at all is wrong with it. Myself, I just wanted Sirius and MP3 capability.

 

Mp3 was my only issue. I swapped out for a pioneer deck that matched the interior. I only ran an amp and power wire because I had it laying around. I ended up getting rid of the box. The amp is in the rear quarter panel behind the shrouds, so its not like its in the way. I just don't have a need for it.

With the EQ adjusted properly, it takes full advantage of the facotry speakers / sub.

 

Yup, take out the battery and remove the battery tray. The grommet has several "nipples" molded in so that you can just clip one off and push the cable through. I'll add some photos to my gallery.
