Drive + Play
 

Hi. I know that several of you out there have the Harman Kardon Drive + Play installed in your Crossfires. Although it may be impossible, I really, REALLY REALLY (lol) :D would like to prevent from having wires shown in my car. I know that many of you would suggest the iTrip. I already have that though, and would like the simplicity of navigating through my iPod while driving, and without taking my eyes off of the road. So my question is, is there ANY place at all I could plug the car charger jack in besides near the ash tray? Call me stupid, but I don't know what type of 'converters' and such are out there that could solve my remedy, but, please notify me if you know of anything. Thanks for the help!

you could always add an outlet to the glove box.

Alpine has some surprisingly affordable head unit with full speed ipod control.
It would also add other features such as mp3 and such.
I have a pioneer nav all in one unit avic z1 but the pioneer ipod control is full function but not full speed.
It depends what you want.
If good sound quality , deck control, and no wires is a must seriously look int a new head unit.

I can vouch for Alpine head units...I have the 9857 model in my Crossfire with the iPod hookup. It is extremely easy to navigate using the head unit.

I would recommend an Alpine unit with the "Full Speed" designation, I have heard that the older head units (which are not full speed) are cumbersome to navigate.
