The Gear it's in, doesn't show in the Dash display?

Hi All,
Just picked up my "New" SSB SRT6 Roadster in Florida Sat PM & Drove it back to NC, (900 miles in all, 450 Miles with the old & the New), I love it!

The Display is blank, where the Current Gear should be showing. :(
Is this probably just a light bulb issue, or is there another possible prob?
Thank you for any input you might have! :)

Unless you are driving an auto stick nothing will be displayed in there... that is purely for the auto stick versions...

I wish I could have it read the manual tranny gear position but I am not nearly experienced enough to figure that one out!

Wait a sec, just re-read your post... you are driving an SRT6 which only comes in auto stick... I would take it to the dealer to have it looked at. It probably won't be a light bulb as it is an LCD display...

The autostick only indicates the gear if your in manual shift, other then that it indicates D regardless of the actual gear.

Yup, that is correct, as my LTD showed, but this "New" 7,000 Mile SRT6, is
Blank all the time, for the first 500 miles of mine?

Thanks for your input! :)

Yep, if it's blank take it to your dealer under warranty this should be fixed.

Congratulations on your new toy! ... The rest is below...

The gear selector display is controlled by the computer. It is possible that for some reason the "display gear" flag was set to false.
