where can you buy it in the US? it doesnt list any distributors for it here...
That is apparently last years model. The new model is the AVIC-F900BT. You can buy it at Crutchfield

Though at $1100, there are other things I can spend my money on.

Both the 700 and the 900 are too large to fit into the existing space, (unless some additional body work was done). The Pioneer AVIC-N4 will fit perfectly into the existing space, (replacing the OEM Infinity system), and has all the same features (including screen size) of the other Pioneer models discussed in this thread. Here's the link: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...Pioneer&tp=144
If there's one thing I've learned about my Crossfire, (from several different technicians at multiple Chrysler dealerships), it's that the electrical system in these cars are extremely complex. If you're thinking about buying ANY aftermarket components (that will connect into the electrical/wiring system of the car), make sure to check with a certified service tech before making the purchase... just to make sure that they are confident about their ability to install it. I've already talked to a couple "certified" techs (at the dealership) that won't even touch ANYTHING electrical that is an aftermarket add-on... including stereo systems.

new features included that N series and other series dont have are:
new high res interface
All flash based (no nav dvd or cd)
All F series have integrated Bluetooth that auto pulls all contacts from the phone, iPhone included
SD Card slot for music/videos
USB connection for iPod/iPhone (videos work too)
Voice Command and Text to speech thanks to VoiceBox Technologies (similar to Microsoft Sync)
MSN Direct for gas prices/traffic/movie times/weather (only on F900)
Much better mapping, including 3D maps.
Connects to your home PC for endless customization abilities, including interface control, custom POI inserts, pictures, etc.
Many more little features
