Quick Help with base model stereo!
Sorry for the rush, but I was hoping to get my stereo finished today. I opted not to get a new head unit yet, and hoped to get some speaker level inputs from the area that normally houses the factory amp...again, base model, so no amp. I opened it up, and no 12 pin connector like implied in the 'adding an amp to your factory stereo' thread. There are 3 8-pin connectors[red, black, and white], and the air bag module.
Has anyone tapped the speaker levels wires from the base model stereo, and if they run through the passengar floor area, which wires....even if they don't run through the floor area, which wires?
I appreciate any help you have for me.

For what it's worth, if you want to run a line level converter in a base model you can tap each door speaker set in the kick panels. Yellow and yellow w/ a brown stripe (negative) go into a connector then get split into two each of the same color running to the mid and tweet.

The system is in, now I just have to play with a little and later make it look nice.
