This thread about installing a Blaupunkt radio (https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=32403) has posters commenting that the plug for the iPod adapter on the back of apparently several different Blaupunkt radios is identical to a plug on the back of the factory head unit. So this begs the question: what happens if one simply plugs the Blaupunkt iPod adapter into the back of a factory HU? Is there any way to get the signal from the iPod to the HU? I'm assuming this is the same plug used for an optional CD changer.

Has anyone tried this? Thought about it?
