Default Nav wanted but TRY THIS PHONE!

I got a new cheap cell phone with EZ NAV in it. This is a feature by Verizon. You pay an extra 10 dollars a month or just map 2.99 when you want to use it and you get it for 3 days. Always updated and works great! Used it my first time and compared it with the factory Nav unit in my Hummer. I drove with both running. Actually worked better than my 2600.00 dollar unit in my Hummer and the phone sat in my cup holder and guided me by voice, great! The map visibility is not as good on the phone screen but who cares I can't really see it as I drive anyway. I just got great directions. NO antenna! Check it out really surprised me!

I subscribe to that as well, and have a Garmin, and have a trucking version...they all work a little different....you would think they would all be similar software, but they aren't....nice feature on the blackberry

i just use my garmin 360 and there is no monthly fee. I can also upload the garmin software on my samsung innov8 8mp cameraphone and use the gps free on it as well.

I still use my maps, the garmin has put me in some tight spots...the trucking software will run you too far out of your way...so the maps still work fine...but the gps is nice for showing what roads are coming up...it is nice to use in combination with the directions I get, the maps, and sometimes, just ask the locals, they always know a shortcut...
