Battery or Alt. ?
 
I noticed driving home last night when i would mash down on the accelerator the radio got a little louder :confused: could the battery be getting ready to crap out or worse the Alt. no other electrical problems at all no codes ,,,,
Thoughts ? Thanks Howard.

Doesn't the OEM headunit have a speed (RPM?) auto-adjust thing going? It gets louder as your speed increases.

It could have been that. I noticed when I still had the OEM in mine that would happen.

This could very well be whats going on .I wasn't aware they operated like that but ," you learn something new about these cars everyday" :rolleyes:

No problem, my friend.

I just 20 minutes ago learned that I need a new battery. 5 years=replace battery. 3rd car this year in the family.

1st nice day in a week that I could drive, (I've been recuperating from surgery, and the 'doc said "No Driving".) I went out to take a spin and:

Whoo-whoo-whoo---click-click-click.


Dang it!

Oh, well. One less present for myself this Christmas.:(
