Default I think I screwed up...

I recently decided to replace my head unit by myself. Unfortunately I attempted this before becoming a member on here and doing my research. So, I started off by removing my head unit and then like an idiot I chopped off the pin block that went into the back of the radio, leaving me with no radio and loose wires. I read a wiring diagram and learned that the Gray/Yellow wires were my reverse lights. At that point I wired it back to the original cut-off block and the reverse lights began to work again, but when I reconnected the factory radio it won't turn on at all.
Does anyone know what could be my problem?
I since have purchased the Scosche VW01B and I know about the Red/Yellow wire switch between the old and new, but it doesn't have a place for the reverse lights.

Thanks, I'm going to use that and try to hook it up, but I'm afraid it might be a problem with my splicing on the original block.

My reverse lights are matched up to the pink wires on the adapter, I don't know if I should leave them unwired. Also, if I understood correctly the remote amp turn on wire from an aftermarket amp for a sub would go into the blue/white wire on the adapter? And lastly, should I include the blue wire that comes with the adapter?
