2005 won't start

I left the car in Florida on June 1st when I came back north. Had key issues, as in lost, car will not start with a jump. Lights work. I'm still up north, have a friend with the car. Any help appreciated.

This does not make sense to me. Fill in the missing info like where did the key come from to start the car?

I winter in FL and bought the car there. When I cam back north I left the key with a friend. She lost it and found it 6 weeks later. She goes to start it, lights will come on, it won't turn over, even by jumping it.

Probably fractured solder on the RCM - if output from the RCM to the PTCM (ECM) is bad, the PTCM won't tell the pulse module to engage the starter. Reflowing the solder on the RCM usually fixes it.

See the "Mystery No Start" thread for details. We have a great guy in AZ who you can mail the RCM to and he fixes and tests it out there. The RCM can be removed from the car without tools, you just pop the cover off the electronics box, unlatch the spring that holds the RCM in, unplug all the connectors - and mail it off to tighted1.

I have a feeling my yahoo emails are getting trapped in tighed1 spam. Could someone reach out to him and let him know I';m interested in sending my RCM to him? Thanks

Make sure your battery is fully charged. I had a pin inside the connector of the Module that somehow got pulled away and wasn't making connection.
