Re: Crossfire 2004 Auto
There are actually Two horns, highly unlikely both died. ( they are behind the grille )
Most likely fuse #1 is blown on the Relay Control Module ( RCM or K40 ) inside the box by the battery, or the relay is bad : https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cro...af1274ec63.jpg |
Re: Crossfire 2004 Auto
Thanks for the reply but over the past few weeks the horn has become weaker until yesterday there is now no sound. How do I get the front off ?

Re: Crossfire 2004 Auto
There are 4 screw bolts on top of the grille that you can see with the hood open.
Remove them, then carefully release the bottom plastic fingers that latch into the bumper cover. You will see the 2 horns mounted to the central brace. |

Re: Crossfire 2004 Auto
Got the grill off removed and cleaned both horns did a test wire from the battery to each horn both dead .put both horns back on the car got my partner to press the steering wheel and no sound only the click of the relay switch fuse 6 .So the horns are both dead I think I have only had 1 horn and last week it got weaker and weaker until now nothing at all, will get 2 new horns this weekend
