Airbag Light On
Hi
My airbag light is on, I see you can get a device on eBay for a few bucks to connect at various places to identify the area of fail. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vehicle-C...EAAOSwOwNcgntm Does anyone have a list and detail of all the airbags and where to check? Ta Lou |
Re: Airbag Light On
Idare2000 - Again, the first place I'd check is the fuse box. Check your owners manual for the location and proper amperage for the fuse.

Re: Airbag Light On
Ah yes.....first best check I actually have a fuse box!! Then I'll check to see if I have 4 wheels, pointless fixing the airbag only to find out I'm missing wheels.........

Re: Airbag Light On
If your air bag light is on your air bag module has likely fail. This happen to me years ago, the fix? I bought a used air bag module from ebay and replaced mine. Once I installed it and hooked the battery up, the light reset itself and ive been fine since.
Just a reminder, as long as that light is on you have no air bag. The air bag module is located on the center floor underneath the dash (where the shifter is, it is in front underneath the center stack). It is not hard to access but you'll have to remove the whole center shifter area as if you were replacing your cup holder. It can be done. |
