space saver wheel

For the crossfire owner that wants a spare wheel. The v/w golf mk 5,6,7 space saver wheel will fit, all that is needed is to have the centre bore machined out to 66.6m ( the golf has a 57mm bore) the wheel I used was from a 2011 golf mk5 , the wrecking yard said the p/n is stamped on the wheel (110601027b/am) it is an 18inch wheel fitted with a 125/70 r 18 tyre that has a weight rating of 99 and a speed rating of m (limited to 80k). I have fitted it to front and back axels, taken it for a run and found no adverse effect . It fits into the luggage space easily, just takes up a little space, I took the rim to a wheel specialist to have it bored out, he assured me that this procedure would not weaken the wheel, he also commented on the strength of the wheel saying it was stronger than the normal and that the webbing was very good. All up cost was $100 for the wheel, $88 for the machining, I checked the track and found the wheel added 6mm to it. Saltiga
