CICCI Member Elections Introduction - EVP Member Services
To those who belong to CICCI, I would like to introduce myself as a nominated candidate for the office of EVP - Member Services. Primary elections are being held now on the CICCI site.
Thank you to the current board for their excellent efforts in getting the CICCI club off to a fantastic start. They have set a very high standard. I am very pleased to have been nominated for this office in CICCI. I am 59 years old and have extensive organizational experience in business, retail, and automotive repair. I have served as a publicly elected member of the Board of Education of Plainedge, New York and was a leading force for moving the school district forward in all aspects. I am a very experienced manager who is extremely comfortable with handling customer (or member) relations. If I was to be elected to this office, I will bring mature experience to fairly handling member services and as a substitute for the President when needed. I am fair, direct, and above all, honest. I am, and will remain, an avid Crossfire enthusiast and will endeavor with the board to expand our club membership. Again, thank you Tony (Acrispy1) for nominating me, and thank you to our membership for considering me for this position. |

I would like to encourage all CICCI members to log in and vote, if you have not done so already.
So as not to leave xfire2005 hanging out here alone, I too have been nominated for this position and provide you with the same info I posted on CICCI: "As I stated in the acceptance of my nomination, I am not actively seeking an officer position, but understand and appreciate the stance of those that desire to step down. I realize the hard work that is involved and believe it should be shared by others. That being said, I am humbled by the nomination and will provide you with a little of my background to help you decide whom to vote for. I am a 20 year Navy veteran, retiring in 1989 as an E-8. I then worked for the next 7 years as a Certified Meeting Planner/Tradeshow Coordinator for the Petroleum & Convenience Store industry and later for the Travel industry. For the last 13+ years I have been with the U.S. Postal Service, working in Operations Programs at the North Florida District (overseeing 350 post offices). I have a BS degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. I have held various officer positions in car clubs, most recently as VP of the Jacksonville Corvette Club. I very much enjoy traveling and making new friends as evidenced by my travels ranging from Miami to Carlisle, and most parts in between over the last 4 years, sharing my enthusiasm with the Crossfire. Again, I am not campaigning per se, as I have very little free time….but if you feel that I am best qualified to represent you and the club, then I can promise that I will give it my best efforts.
