At home watching the Daytona Arca 200, and staying warm with outside temps at -30 c plus wind chill.

Hi, I am new here and am Canadian from the south shore of Montreal, Qc.
Is there anyone else from my area, at least in the Quebec province?
It would be interesting to have a get together in Canada, are we enough...

Wellcome to a great forum. Always nice to see another Canadian XF owner. Good looking car. Would be great to have a meeting of CDN XF owners. This however is a big country and we are spread pretty thin. Iam heading down to tackle the Dragon in April with our American friends. Why not join us?

I live about an hour and a half east of Toronto. In the small country village of Colborne. We have a summer place in Haliburton. Which is about two hours north of Colborne.

Hey Canuck,

Not that close, it's more :

2,629 mi – about 1 day 16 hours (One Way, Plus, our Weekend of Driving "Fun"!)

If you come you well most likely win the "Long-Haul Award"!

My Best to you All in the Frozen North, but it is God's County, at least in the Summertime!
(I think even God Winters in South Florida )

I lived in Mississauga,On. back in 1990, I was seeing Lake Ontario from my condo, it was great.

True, the ride in the US would be very long, specially that we can not drive altogether in the Crossfire lol

I have a question about the engine, I was told that the Crossfire was all Mercedez made except for the brakes, is that true? On another forum somebody was debating the made of the engine

Thanks,

Engine is Benz. Not sure about the brakes. My guess would be Benz as the XF is built on the last SLK platform.

Regarding brakes. Check the Technical Forum. Lots of posts on brakes there.

Hey. I plan on driving through part of the US and then Canada when I travel from Toronto to my new home in BC.

Hope to see some Crossfires along the way!

Thanks for the info on the engine and breaks.
Can not convince that someone whom is debating that Crossfire is not made Benz, would love to find the spec of the XFire to shoh him.

Nice drives to do but I agree, it is long when you are alone? Single? or just a matter of availibility to get away from your spouse?

Toronto to BC? That should be lovely, will you do it in the summer time? Went twice to BC and loved it, Lake Louise and Banff,AB are just incredible.
Drove around up north and it snowed in May. The next day I was in my bikini, this is their temperature down there like Switzerland.

Enough said, I have to go,
Talk to all of you later,

Diane,

Diane,

Hi Diane,
Yup, only 1 sig per page of thread!
Some long ones, people complain, about too much space.
Can you make it to the Dragon sometime? Spring or Fall?
