Southern Ontario GTG in Halton Hills

I RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING LETTER FROM LEGENDARY MOTORCARS
IN HALTON HILLS, ONTARIO

"Thanks for contacting us.
We would really like it if you and your car club could make it out to the shop.

We do offer tours on Saturdays, open from 10-3. The showroom is open for you to take in at your own leisure. The tours of the shop are guided by either myself or another person here named Mark, they typically take 30-45 mins depending on the size of the crowd and the number of questions etc. We do ask for a $5.00 admission at the door per person, of which 100% is forwarded to a local charity.

Hope this answers some of your questions, I believe Sept 12 is still free, so let me know for sure which date you will be coming, and when we get closer to that time, let me know approx how many people will be joining you.

Thank you, Bill DeBlois

Great news Roy, thanks. Another Saturday get together...............we're in. Just a thought though, any chance we can do something on a Sunday? Just so those of us that may have other commitments like work, family, etc. may join us too?

Halton Hills is the Regional area of the Georgetown area, I think the town or hamlet of Halton Hills is in the North west corner of Georgetown close to Trafalgar Road.

Re: HONDA Indy race

While attending the Indy Race in Toronto, a couple weekends ago, a Blue Xfi parked next to my Xfi....WOW I don't see to many Xfi's around Rochester, and to have one park next to me was a real treat! (I left my card). Anyone want to take claim?

I am working literally 1 mile away from 8220 Fifth Line, I am working on a co-gen plant just down the road on steels ave towards trafalger. you can probably see the cranes from there. However just like the other GTG's depends on work and right now it is way too early to commit but I will keep an eye on this thread.

I'm in, providing no unforeseen conflicts. Nice area and nice time of year for a drive.
The MotoCars invitation would be a great addition to the day as well.

Re: Southern Ontario GTG in Halton Hills legendary

roy ,we visited legendary and spoke with bill d. today.we agreed that 11:00 am on saturday was a good time.hope that is good with everybody.the tour is in 2 parts.the show room and museum usually takes 45 min. or so.we can take all the pictures we want.then the tour goes to the repair shop.and again, about 45 min. or so.they do not like pictures being taken there.there are some souvenir shirts and hats available to buy.
we thought we would work way over to georgetown, with stops at a farmers market or two.we found a british pub called st.georges for lunch.nice casual atmosphere.after that there is a main drag in georgetown that we can stroll along.after that there is a farm that we can visit and sample their wines, and fresh produce etc.
there is also a nice drive we can take in the area.
all of this is up for discussion and can be changed at any time to fit our needs.
i will put some more details on in a day or two. beth /nick:)
